The Date Masamune Katana features a 27.25-inch forged steel blade with a prominent and deep hamon, perfectly balanced for both cutting and collecting. The tsuka (handle) is wrapped in brown suede over white same (ray skin), providing an excellent grip. The sword's aesthetics are enhanced by gold menuki depicting Date's war kabuto, breastplate, and shoulder armor.

Date Masamune, known as the One-Eyed Dragon of Oshu, was a powerful feudal lord in Japan's Azuchi-Momoyama period. Renowned for his distinctive Crescent Moon kabuto and black and gold armor, Masamune's legacy blends conquest with diplomacy and cultural openness.
